INGREDIENTS
- 2lb Country Style Pork Ribs
- Daniels Hickory Rub
- 1 Cup BBQ Sauce (We like Rufus Teague)+ extra for topping
- 1 Cup Chicken Broth or Water
- 1 package Root Cellar Foods coleslaw mix
- ½ cup PS “Fresh Squeezed sauce”
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 package Soberdough cornbread mix
INSTRUCTIONS
- Rub the pork thoroughly with Daniels Hickory Rub
- Mix equal parts BBQ sauce and chicken broth, it should be at a thin, watery consistency
- Place pork into slow cooker, add BBQ sauce mixture until meat is 2/3 covered
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours, until country ribs are fork tender
- Serve with BBQ sauce, coleslaw, and cornbread
- To make coleslaw, mix mayonnaise and fresh squeezed sauce together, then stir in coleslaw veggies until evenly coated
- To make cornbread, follow instructions on the package
**Chef’s Tip: Put this together the night before you want to eat it and leave it in the fridge overnight. The next morning, start the crock pot on low before going to work-you’ll come home to the house smelling amazing and dinner ready to go!**
